Sitko Windoor tape is used for sealing window and door frames in wooden structures. The tape is used as internal vapor barrier tape in the frame and as external weather protection tape in new and renovation construction. The tape is installed in window and door frames before the window is lifted into place. The insulation tape is glued to the clean, dust- and grease-free side surface of the frame. After the window has been lifted into place, the tape is joined to the wall structure. The 65mm wide tape has a 20mm wide adhesive strip on the edge of the outside and another 20mm wide adhesive strip on the edge of the inside. The best seal is achieved when the window is taped both inside and outside.
